Accreditation Statement
In support of improving patient care, University of Southern
Indiana Center for Health Professions Lifelong Learning is jointly accredited
by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses
Credentialing Center (ANCC), and the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)
Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program to provide continuing education for
the healthcare team.
The University of Southern Indiana is an approved provider of
continuing education for several professionals licensed in the state of
Indiana, including social workers, marriage and family therapists,
psychologists, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, and
dental professionals.
Credit Statement
This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and
learners will receive 3.5 contact hours Interprofessional Continuing Education
(IPCE) credit for learning and change.
The University of Southern Indiana awards contact hours for
nurses, knowledge-based CPE activity contact hours for pharmacists, 3.5 AMA
PRA Category 1 Credits™ for physicians, and other health
professionals. Learners should claim only the credit commensurate with
the extent of their participation in the activity.
Criteria for successful completion
In order to receive certificate of completion, the learner must

Register and sign in on the day of the event
2.
Attend at least 90% of the educational activity
3.
Submit a program evaluation
Your certificate of completion will be sent via email immediately
after submitting your program evaluation. You will have until November 25
to complete your program evaluation.
